As the operating partner for this new landmark opened in June 2020, Main Street Hospitality led a project team through the shifting headwinds of a pandemic to realize the hotel’s mission of becoming a dynamic heartbeat for downtown Newport.
PORCHES INN AT MASS MOCA
WORKING AT THE INTERSECTION OF HOSPITALITY, ART & ECONOMIC REVIVAL. Opened in 2001 as a partnership between the co-owner of Main Street Hospitality and a fellow founding board member of MASS MoCA, this visionary renovation of Victorian row houses helped lead the transition of a former mill town to a cultural and recreational center.

WILLIAMS COLLEGE
REBUILDING COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS TO DELIVER STRONG RESULTS. Through a three-year management contract, we stabilized the profitability of a property that had drifted from its core constituency. By nurturing relationships and creating special programs, the property increased sales while remaining an extension of the college experience.
